Welcome to Broome County Quail, where our passion for quail farming takes flight! I'm Bob White, and yes, the name's a delightful coincidence with the bobwhite quail, which sparked my journey into quail farming back in 2018. What started in my son's garage, moved to my basement, and then expanded to a farm, has now grown into our thriving 27-acre haven, a former golf course turned quail paradise. My son, Brenton is my partner in this adventure.
Our Beginnings It all began with an article, a name, and a curiosity that blossomed into a full-fledged business. From humble beginnings, we've weathered the storms (literally!), rebuilt from challenges, and evolved, much like the resilient quail we rear.
What We Offer Our specialty lies in the Jumbo Wild Coturnix Quail – known to some as Jumbo Browns or Jumbo Pharaohs. We pride ourselves in breeding these magnificent birds, focusing on rapid growth without compromising quality. Our quail reach a robust 12-14 ounces in as little as 6 weeks! We're known for our hatching and eating eggs, but our range doesn't end there. From edible eggs, hatching eggs, chicks, and adult birds to unique offerings like balut eggs, feeder quail, and parts for dog training, we cater to a diverse clientele.

Our Journey and Vision Growing up in a family greenhouse business, I've always been close to nature and farming. After a brief hiatus, I found my calling in raising quails, ironically in greenhouses, with a touch of my farmer quirky style. Our vision? To become the premier supplier of Jumbo Wild Coturnix Quail products in New York State.
